I’d give 5 stars for the shoe itself. Absolutely the best shoe I’ve possibly ever purchased.
My four stars go for two things: The loop fabric at the top of the Achilles tendon is flimsy. It broke on the second time wearing these shoes. I recommend reinforcing the stitching there. Secondly, Woobie needs to restock their shoes. I’ve reached out to Woobie expressing my interest in purchasing a few more pair, however, they have been out of stock of regular sizes (10.5/10.5W). They responded to me saying they would restock within a few weeks and it has been months. I missed their great Black Friday sale and now am about to miss their Christmas sale waiting for the restock. The demand is there, but the four stars are for their stock.

Another great pair of boots!!
Lorenzo V.
These boots are very comfy, but they're also a little tight getting them on and off. A few days ago, one of the loops almost tore off completely trying to put them on. The stitching could be done better. Once that tears, it will be difficult to put them on.
Mario D.
Love the shoes! Great fit and durable.
Willis W.
Not sure if these are still being made in the USA or not. The stitching on the tongue loop in particular came undone after three days of wear and I had to hand sew it. Not the end of the world, but not something I'd expect to have to do at the price point.
On the plus side they look great and the material choice does seem good.

Great customer service! Great shoes and great replacement for my first pair!

Great footwear!

Okay let’s get real. I started with black on black chucks, commercial not durable but comfy. Bought Combat Flips and Woobies to head to head test. Woobies have a durable build and sole, nice gel footbed and they need break in to really appreciate BUT the pull loops in the back ripped off first wear which really disappointed. Still early for long term test but that’s truth. <3>

Bought these shoes (second pair of this brand) and love them. They are comfortable yet tough. The shoe soles are great and I love the design. My first pair of these broke and the company sent me a brand new pair, no questions asked which I really appreciated. I will be buying more of these shoes as needed for a while.
David F.
Hi!
These are very comfortable shoes and I have a grey pair that have been fantastic. BUT, these black ones have not been as durable. When slipping them on before lacing them up, I noticed the loop on the rear of both shoes were beginning to tear. Eventually the right shoe’s loop torn off with very little force putting them on. I really like these shoes and y’all’s brand. I plan on being a loyal customer. These shoes weren’t cheap. Is there anything we can do to fix this?
Thanks,
David Freeman
Kyle J.
Love these shoes. Super comfortable, durable great all black color ready for fall. Keep up the good work. God bless our troops.

Customer service is will response in a day or two and shipping may be 2 weeks out. I love the show and love wearing it everywhere but had to wait for ever to finally get them
Roberto A.
Love these, will be buying more !
Aust P.
Love these shoes, and they last a while. My first pair has last over 2 years; I hope they make the jungle boots in black, I’ll definitely order some! Thank you !

Soles are separating
Joseph D.
These would be my 4th pair of woobies but got the MOD 2 specifically for my trip to Ireland. Walked everywhere, and they were do comfortable. Best shoes
Maria R.
Beautiful shoes.
Keith O.
Love the shoes! Comfortable to wear during my 12 hour shifts. Only thing I’d mention is that the front material scrapes off pretty easy. I had to use polish to cover it. It’s not a crazy big thing but if you bang your feet on hard surfaces, be careful.
Michael D.
Excellent customer service
Bryan S.
Ya gotta stitch the heel pull better then glue it or whatever. Ripped on second time wearing. I like them thou. I put in my timberland sole insert, and really like the fit.
Dylan D.
I love my woobies, they provide great ankle support while I am on duty. My only complaint is the pull tabs on both shoes have torn off and they are kinda difficult to get on and off without them. I have had mine for a few weeks and am disappointed the pull tabs already have torn off. A solution is for me to sew on new ones. I like everything else about the shoes and would still recommend them!
Blake B.
These fit amazing and are extremely comfortable. I’ve been very impressed with how durable they are. The materials used to make these shoes are extremely high quality.
Joseph P.
The first pair I have ordered delivery was fast . But received wrong shoes ordered and paid for the high top black mod-2 sent me black low top mod-1 .
paul h.
Great people to work with, well-made product, really comfortable
ALVIN C.
So, I bought a size 11, and the shoe fits me well. Its a bit narrow through the tops of the toes, so if you're someone who likes a looser fit, I recommend perhaps going up half a size. They seem durable enough.....I've just begun wearing them so I would have more on that after a few months. The sole though....these are not the most cushiony shoes on the planet. The sole is quite hard on my feet (understanding that this is personal taste). I've put in a cushion insole and that seems to have solved the issue. I think its overall, a good shoe for the money...I'd probably get another pair in the future based on my future shoe needs.
Victor H.
When the MOD2’s first came out they looked so cool. As soon as I put on my black MOD2’s, they became my favorite shoes. These shoes are great!
Luke S.
4th pair! They look good and are extremely comfortable
Matt D.
Ordered a size bigger due to toe issues and just added a heal support, they are great.
Jon L.
Comfortable foot bed, easy break-in period, construction quality leaves a little to be desired. 10-12 wears and the pull strap broke
Jay B.
Only down fall is the pull tabes both broke instantly first day, second at the sole it’s already coming undone, owned for 2 months maybe. A little disappointed I thought they were built to last. Seems like another company quantity over quality, I will give one more chance with another order will see how the shoes last
Jonathan A.
Had the shoes less than 3 months. Barely worn the shoes 3x a week. Stitching came looking funky but that was ok by me. Then the pull on the back of the right shoe broke at the first week of having them. Ok... Looked like the stitching wasn't proper. Now the left sole is separating from the shoe because the STITCHING IS COMING APART. I have 4 yo vans, made by Vietnamese kids, that are holding up better than this. Pretty disappointed after saving to get these. Fingers crossed y'all are honest folks.
Gunnar .
This product really relies on military hype. For me personally, after a year of wear, they were always uncomfortable after having them on for a couple hours, eventually started ripping at the seams, the heel pull is super flimsy, and the original laces are trash. In Woobie’s ads, they say these are “military grade”… anybody who’s served knows that’s not a good thing. For about $110, you can get Altima Maritime Assaults that are built much better than Woobies, or go with the Takkies from KommandoStore for $65 which are genuinely the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn (and actually have military history behind them). Two stars because their charity is cool.
Eric O.
My black MOD-1s were, without a doubt, the longest lasting shoes I have ever had since my Army boots. Came back and tried the MOD-2s this time. Absolutely love them.
Matthew A.
I love the first pair of Woobies I bought. But the second pair I bought in March aren’t quite as durable as the first unfortunately. I sent an email inquiring if the warranty covered the manufacturing defect but haven’t heard back.
Alondra C.
Shoes ripped within the first week . The back tab ripped while slipping them on .
Shawn N.
Where the toe wraps around the front it rubs my small toe really bad
Joseph G.
My Woobies experience has been a journey. I bought the black Mod2s for work and anywhere else I can wear them. I get by with them at work because the toe looks polishable. I have never worn minimalist style shoes before so it's taken some getting used to. They do draw attention because they look similar to the old Chuck Taylors from Converse, so lots of people ask me about them. There was bit of a break in period and I have to say, the more I wear them the more I like them. They are my everyday patrol shoe and they work great for that. When I work OT where I have to stand for long periods, I switch to a much more cushioned shoe. I love them for moving around in though. I like feeling the ground under my feet. So far they are very durable. I'm waiting to see if the pull up strap lasts as long as the rest of the shoe, but so far it has. Strengths: comfortable (get them broke in good), lightweight, breathable for the hot and humid South, durable (the toe hasn't even scratched), it's an experience if you have never worn this style shoe. Weaknesses: The laces won't stay tied even double knotted. It's like a magician designed them. I haven't been able to make it through a 12 hour shift without having to tie them again. They are a little pricey for a canvas shoe. Fortunately, I haven't had to test the puncture resistance of the sole, but that could also be a concern. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and like I said, the more I wear them the more I like them. I would buy again, maybe the low cut version to save some $$.
Chris T.
I like them. I fook them up every day. Then they come back for more.
Scott B.
i only have a handful of hikes in these, but they are very supportive and comfortable, with confidence-inspiring grip on all surfaces! Truly a great all-around-shoe, and even better knowing where they come from.
Corey S.
They are too small
Justin S.
Great shoe! A little narrow so it hugs my feet a little but otherwise fine. I went to pull up the shoe with the loop on the back and it tore off but I might have been pulling a little too hard.
Great shoe, washes easy. Just would get get the wides next time.
Joe B.
So, the first two days my feet hurt! These shoes are very narrow. After loosening the laces quite a bit it was better. I’ll be getting more comfortable inserts with arch support soon. These shoes fit smaller than advertised. I was under the impression they were sized like converse. If you wear a size 10 in converse, get a 10 1/2. If you are even close to being a wide, get a wide. I didn’t realize I was on the cusp. Wish I had gotten the 10 1/2 wide instead of the 10 regulars. They are too expensive to order another pair, so I’ll suck it up.
Jimmy G.
Great pair of shoes about time to get some more about two years of every day wear
Blake T.
Good shoes, but not perfect. They’re comfortable, but the sole is completely flat, which is a personal preference. The loop on the back of the shoe is very easily torn, it needs extra reinforcement.
Joe N.
Seems like they improved upon the altamas. I like the qc better and the holes are better than the mesh on altamas that frays over time. Not sure about the tread but whatever
Aaron .
These shoes are incredible! Seriously, best shoes I have for all occasions since with a horse hair brush, they clean up easily. My only feedback for improvement would be to consider modifying the material and construction for the loop on the heel. If that were double/triple/quad stitched to ensure it can't rip free, that would be amazing! Or, maybe moving to black leather with rivets...not sure, but it's the weak link in my opinion. Love your guys products tho!!! Thanks so much for all you do!

FRUAD
not made in AMERICA
$6 sweat shop shoes
Bob
Stitching coming apart
JP M.
Shoe Scam, this company shoes are manufactured in 3 rd world Latin countries at $6 dollars a pair.
And falsely claim the are made in the USA back by military veterans
They are under investigation by the US military for false advertising
Ben W.
Product is good, but service was absolutely awful.
Took over 2 months for my product to ship - and nobody on staff informed me of the delay until I reached out, a few weeks after my order. When I did reach out, I was informed the product would be coming "very soon" despite the delay. Then it still took a month for the shoes to even ship.
While the product itself is well made, I would not recommend to a friend because of the service I received. Very disappointed.
Cody
Started to fall apart after only a few months of regular, indoor use =\ Love the company and style, though!
Jacob
I had these for about a year and was actually expecting them to hold up a bit better based on all the marketing and stuff. But they are nice when they're new!
Scott
The shoes fell apart .
Anthony G.
So far they're holding up really well! The loop on the back of one of them broke but other than that they are staying together better than most canvas sneakers I've owned over the years. They're super comfortable as well
Jessy R.
Love them! I use them for work and I have a set of the snake mod 2 as well. Great shoes!
Gavin W.
I love the shoes. The break in period was similar to other users and afterwards they have been one of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Unfortunately today the side of the sole blew out next to the inside panel seam after wearing them for about two months. That has been the only disappointment I've had with the shoes.
shawna k.
Shoes look great! A little stiff at first, but seem like they will be easy to break in. Love that it's a small veteran-owned company, and they were also very helpful when i needed to exchange for a different size.
Timothy E.
There are my second pair of Woobies. My first were the MOD 1. Those shoes were my daily shoes for almost 2 years. There is nothing wrong with them and still going strong. The tread is still there, none of the seams have shown any signs splitting and they are as comfortable today as the day I first put them on. In short, I love them! The best shoes that I have ever owned! I bought the MOD 2 because I have an ankle that likes to roll for no good reason. Plus I like the look of the high top. The MOD 2 had a little more breaking time and seems to be a hair more narrow than the MOD 1. But they are still very comfortable. I have been wearing the MOD 2 daily for the past 3 - 4 months with no issues. I get frequent comments about them and cant wait to get another pair.
Kenneth T.
Better than Chucks.
Scott D.
The MOD-2s I received have a harder sole than the MOD-1s that I own. They will leave marks on the tile floors in my home and office. They are also noisy(click) when walking in tiled floors. Sometimes I had to make sure I’m not wearing my dress shoes they are so noisy
That is the only con I have. Other than that these are great shoes. I currently have 4 pair total
Scott T.
Great fit, extremely comfortable.
Alex S.
Best purchase ever
Kevin J.
The non slip on these bad Larry’s, is incredible! 10 outta 10, I’m getting more.
Jarmo D.
Best flat bottom shoes I’ve ever owned!
Blake
The absolute best shoe for work by far! With it having a clean profile (no logos or separate colors) along with a large polishable toe it was able to fit into uniform Police at my agency. In the 2 plus years on patrol (foot pursuits, hurricanes, wet, muddy etc.) this shoe only gets better with time.
The only negative I would say is I wish it would come in a more “foot shaped” toe box similar to a barefoot shoe but I also have yet to try the wide version of Mod-1.
Finally, with the Mod-2 (high top) the shoe laces could be longer because in cold weather (wearing wool/thick socks) especially it can get a little hard to tie your shoe because the laces are not long enough.
Aaron M.
These are high quality shoes. You can feel the high quality when you wear them. Takes a week to work them in and once you break them in its glorious. I wear them for work, they feel like boots but have that converse chucks feel. Athletic boots if you will I'd describe them. This is my second purchase of these shoes, the 1st pair lasted 6 months. That's 6 months of mon- Fri 12hr shifts. When my 2nd pair wears out ill get a 3rd pair for sure.
Joshua
Love these shoes!!!
Darren (Deacon) C.
I have two pair of mod 2’s, with which, one or the other are worn every day.
They’re durable in the gym, fashionable while out and about, comfortable at church and functional at the range.
Truly my favorite pair of shoes!
Darren C.
Evan O.
Would have like to try a 8.5 in wide to have no slide (front to back), but lowest wide size option was a 9. Still fits well and are comfortable.
Rolando S.
Customer service is incredible!
Tyler D.
I love my mod 1s and I was excited when the mod 2s came out and bought them right away. I didn't have an issue with them being made in Spain until I got them in hand.
I'd be much happier spending ~$160 on a shoe with the durability of the older US made woobies.
My mod 1s, as you can see are well worn, sun and sweat bleached. I've been hike, training, fishing etc in my mod 1s for 3 years. Love them, most durable shoes I've ever had.
On the other hand, I've had the mod 2s for a month and the durability of the new manufacturer is coming into question. The rubber sole is softer and the toe cap is less resistant to abrasion. You can see the level of wear on the heel from my right foot with the mod 1s after 3 years vs the mod 2s after a month.
I hope you guys can eventually come back to the US, mainly for the overall quality of the build. Spain is great but not for your guys shoes.
Johnson
These things might as well be made of tissue paper. I have a pair of MOD-1's that have held up very well so naturally, I thought a pair of high tops would be a nice addition. I don't know know how but it seems like the quality control team for the stitching for the welt must have been on smoke break when my pair was made.
Ryan
Good quality but they are too narrow in the toe box for me. I’ve never worn a wide shoe before. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Return is easy.
Gerard G.
Little tight on sides and the soles mark up the floors in my house ., otherwise it reminds me of my old jungle boots from the Army
Dianna
Excellent qualities and style!
Nick S.
I haven't put them through much because when I got them they are so clean and nice looking but I will buy another pair soon and these will be turned in to work shoes and enjoy the feel the weight of them are perfect and I will say if you have a wide foot get the wide they are cut like Chuck Taylors but worth snagging a pair
Jason H.
Very comfortable. Great alternative to a heavy boot.
Patrick P.
The insole and padding inside is very comfortable. The laces are thick and stand up to a solid tug to tighten up the shoe tongue. They look tough and feel great!
david m.
This is simple, I like them more than the roll out low tops, and they 100% replace my chucks and vans.
Why to step your game up
Daniel T.
Solid shoe. I like them a lot. Shipping times and updates were disappointing. If you’re willing to wait I’d definitely recommend them.
Christopher H.
Great shoes! Very comfortable and stylish.
Matt M.
Extremely comfortable and extremely beautiful. Tears of joy run down my face every time I put them on.
chad f.
I will say they are comfortable...
I'm on my third pair since Oct22 sorry to say these shoes don't hold up . either that or I have shit luck. the sole of all three pairs, even the replacement pair they sent separated from the shoe like a flip flop. I'm past the 30 day warranty so I'm out the 160 or so per pair.
for the price point I thought they would last a bit longer than a month or two.
Samuel D.
The only negative aspect is the fact that something along the back (top of heel cup? leather seam?) wore blisters along my achilles tendons. Not sure if there's a way to soften up that friction point...? Haven't had that experience from a shoe before.
Anyways, that's the second pair of Woobies and I'm sure I'll buy more.
Brandon G.
Great quality shoes! Absolutely love them. But the shipping took over two months and they had to refund one of the items because they were out of stock. No warnings about delays on the website and customer service was very slow to respond
Jason
Easy to exchange great shoe.
Alicia M.
They were a Christmas gift for my son! He loves them!
Bill H.
They’re ok. Not really what I was expecting. Probably my fault for not reading more into them. They’re very similar to a converse all star.
TONY
Black nice
Karl S.
Great quality! Night and day difference compared to converse or vans. The laces are quick and easy to tighten or loosen when taking off. They run a little narrow on my feet, (size 13.5).
They would probably work well under scuba fins.
Matt
Greatest footwear I've ever worn. Worth every penny.
Isaac N.
Hit the mud with them. Drain holes worked good.
Brian
Sizing is slightly small. I get a hot spot on my left pinky toe so I’m trying to break them in slow. I’ve walked around 10-15 miles in them and they still hurt so not sure what to do.
Lucas L.
So I have feet issues. Pain every day when I wake up. I got these shoes, went to work for 12hrs and the next day......no pain when I woke up. I thought it was a fluke but now, the days after I work I don't have foot pain anymore. They have just gotten better, these "Tactical Taylors". Needless to say, I will be getting a pair for use away from work
Luke P.
Love these shoes!! Although after bowling one night the loops on the heels broke off when trying to put the shoes back on. Shoe is still great and very functional for any outing but I was disappointed the stitching wasn’t better on the loops. I cauterized the threading to prevent any loose seams from pulling out. I don’t need a replacement they are still functional shoes. Just no more loops
Scott B.
Very nice . Enjoy wearing. Very cool and comfortable
Michael P.
I ordered the mod-2s and was disappointed with the quality. I bought a pair of mod-1s right before Woobies moved manufacturing to Spain. Mod-2s I’m assuming are from Spain because the quality has dropped off slightly. I still love the shoes but loved being able to purchase a shoe made in the USA. I know it’s hard to do now, I haven’t found another American made shoe. Still holding out hope you guys will find someone to make them in the US again. Cheers.
Cody D.
The fit is true to size, and they are comfortable.
John C.
Awesome quality, comfort, and durability. Great company and service to boot.
