They are great shoes. I wore my last pair of Mod 1’s every day for the 2 years I had them, which meant wearing them on disaster response deployments, walking my dog 4 miles a day and just for general purpose. The shoe has completely changed since I ordered my original pair when the company first started. You can definitely tell the shoe is no longer made in the USA. The quality is half of the old shoe. I order the wide size and it’s actually slimmer than my original pair. The toe box and overall craftsmanship of the shoe has completely tanked. It went from my number duty shoe to the trash.

Best shoes I have ever owned. I am a mechanic and have used the same pair for almost 2 years. The slip resistant soles are better than any shoe or boot I've tried. Definitely will buy another pair!

AS someone currently overseas in a deployed location this company has been a nightmare. Zero support for mailing to a deployed location. When the shoe is shipped it gets returned to the company. When I email, call, and email again for help I get no response. I'm out over a $100 to this failure of a company. Never buy.

This is my 3rd pair. Unfortunately the insoles are not as gushy or comfortable as my first pair, and the laces were real short. So I swapped the laces and old insole's from my first pair to make them work. Love the wide shoe fit and hope they come out in White soon! Hopefully you can get back to the old insoles. Still my favorite shoes! Thanks

Nice shoe overall. I wasn't a fan at first becuase my feet are so wide. My toes were smashed in there pretty good but after some use and being broken in they feel great. Veteran company american made awesome stuff. Thank you for your service.

This is my second pair of Woobies, my first were great and I wore holes into the Treads. The second pair is great, but the sizing seems to be different. My first pair were regular. For my second pair I had to go with a wide. I ordered a regular first and had to exchange. The customer service was Outstanding in the exchange process. I look forward to repeating the same process with my new pair, and wearing out them completely like my last pair.

My husband loves them! He heard of them from a friend and loved the look and the overall mission of the company. Bought them for the black friday/cyber monday sale and went with the wide. Figured he gets enough toe squishage from his work boots lol. They fit perfectly! He was a bit worried about the fit and comfortability the first day but his friend reminded him they just need a good breaking in. Just a few days of wear and they were just right. Just in time to look nice for the holiday gatherings. Highly recommend!

We have been buying your shoes for ourselves and our employees for a few years now. They just don’t seem to be holding up as well as they used to. We love what you are all doing at Woobies, but do feel the quality is not worth the money anymore. They start falling apart shortly after they are broke in. I bought 2 pair of your high tops and both pair lasted about 2 month. Sorry, we do love what you are doing.

Getting them was a logistical nightmare I understand there was an issue at your factory during that time but it was over a month no communication. The shoe could be a little wider but I have wide feet. So far the wear seems ok but will see how they last.

Nice shoes. Pull strap could be stronger. Started to tear second time putting on. Overall very tough and comfortable. Please make a 4E for men with duck feet. Is on the narrow side for a 2E.

They were a bit uncomfortable out of the box but the break in period was short and they are vey comfortable now. I mainly use them in the gym for weight training and they're great. The only issue ive had is the loop on the heel of the left shoe ripped almost completely off the second time i put them on, other than that they're fantastic shoes and ive recommended them to my friends.

I bought both the mod-1 and mod-2 in 11 Wide. First, I really like the concept and design of the shoes. The construction has held up well so far and has a great combination of aesthetics, ruggedness, and agility. However, the shoe, even in wide, is pretty narrow and constricting to the toes for me even after breaking in. I might buy again, either in a size up or if they make the shoes wider.
In short, great design and concept but the toe box is too narrow.

I ordered these for my fiancé and he absolutely loves them. He has the Black MOD-1 Wide in size 12/2E Men and the Jungle Camo Mod-1 Wide as well. I hope to get him all the MOD-1 Wide size shoes in time and these really work for him since he has flat feet. If you are a Veteran reading this review thank you for your service and these shoes don't disappoint. If you wear these shoes you will look good and feel good in them too.

I love the look and materials of these shoes. My only issue is that they are too narrow. I really cannot feel a difference between the normal and the wide version in the same size. My feet are not a wide in any other shoe but these wides are still to narrow to be worn all day. The part of the shoe that I believe needs attention, with respect to this issue, is the area where they transition from the fabric to the toe box. This seems to be a problem that many people online have with the design.

Wouldn't consider these for longevity. Barely 4 months in and not worn daily. A few road marches of less than 5 miles. Some biking, and general walking and already started to come apart.
The comfort and fit are great. I really wanted to love these but at the cost I can't say they are worth it if you need a new pair every 4 months.
Either back to altama or on to something new.

I bought these shoes to try them out and see how they stack against the Altama Maritime Lows, and these things are disappointing. They lasted less than 4 months without becoming so ripped down the side that they are unwearable in any situation. Never again.

Bought my woobies about 2 1/2 months ago. Put them on immediately upon receipt and set out for a 2 mile walk with my Iraqi rescue dog, wear them every day on our walks. Great show comfortable the first time I put them on and comfortable since! I have even brought them on a disaster response deployment, and it’s great to be wearing these shoes from sun up to late in the evening. Great product, I highly recommend this shoe.

Great shoe overall too bad my fat foot couldn’t fit it (old Army injury) The overall width of the shoe was amazing but the toe narrowed to much for me. It happens to a lot of shoes that say wide. The insoles are fricken sweet. They seem indestructible. The shoes themselves look great and would function great in any self-defense scenario while also looking nice enough to wear to my office job every day.
Unfortunately, the inside wall of the shoe is already pulling away from the sole on the right shoe (I've been wearing them every day for 2 months). That's a real bummer. Hopefully it doesn't get much worse, but we'll see.

I've been rockin dad shoes for years now. These were my first flat bottom sneakers since 8 was in my 20s. I just wish the mesh screens on the drain holes of the shoes weren't there as the are coming undone, but it's more of an annoyance than a problem. I would definitely recommend these shoes and I would love to get some high tops in the future.

The first pair I ordered were small and way too narrow. I went up a half size and also went with the wide option. It’s been a couple weeks and I’m still trying to stretch them out some more. They are great looking shoes and very well built. However, the wide option is only slightly wider than the regular option. I wear size 8.5 and went to 9 wide. An extra wide option is needed. I’m not a big guy at 5’8” - 170lbs… If your feet are on the wider side you might have issues with Woobies. Customer service was spot on with the return.

I have had the regular width in the past and after a break in period they fit well, but still felt a little snug on my feet. I got the wide size now offered for my second pair and could not be happier with the fit. They do not feel significantly wider than the regular fit shoe, but just enough to give my wide feet the room they need to be completely comfortable. So, if you are concerned about the wide shoes getting too roomy on your foot, in my experience, I would not worry about it and go with a wide size if you are on the fence.

When I received the shoes, they were very tight, but I figured they just had to be broken in to fit just right. Well after walking in it for a couple days, I realized I didn’t get the Wide version I paid for but rather the regular version of the 11.5. I thought about returning but I believe it was beyond return because of me already putting miles in it. I wish I could wear it more often, but it sadly sits on the rack . Good looking shoes tho. Please don’t be like me, and make sure you got the right size before testing them.

I currently work doing residential/commercial window washing. So I’m frequently getting on tile roofs and getting my shoes exposed to water.
These shoes do exactly what I wanted them to do. Don’t slip and keep my feet dry. I feel relatively solid on steeper roofs and indirect splashes/wet grass doesn’t get through.
This model is true to size. I got the wide cuz of my wide flippers. Maybe if you think you need more toe room, go wide. But stick with your usual number size.
Started wearing on Monday and were broken in before the end of the week.
Wouldn’t want to run a 5k in them or stand on tile for 10 hrs, but overall a great multi purpose work shoe.

I generally buy wides in foot ware. The mod 1 wide was not wide enough. Please make an extra wide because I loved them. I had to send them back unfortunately.

love the shoes, comfortable, durable (this is my second pair) Im a pro photographer, shooting sports, portraits etc. Im on my feet all day, getting down on the ground, back up, kneeling...and the shoes flex without pinching, and stay put.
now that winter sports have started. I realize the soles are not non-marking...so im getting a few dirty looks from leaving black marks on the floor...other than that. not a single complaint about the shoes, how they look, or how they feel...love em!

These shoes by far are the most dependable shoe in the closet. They look sharp in any occasion and are incredibly supportive on your feet. The sole's are comfortable and superb control on any pavement. A definite must have in your collection. I have 3 so far and there are no signs of stopping. I want them all. A quality shoe all around.

Bought these bad boys before my backpacking trip to Columbia.....wore them everyday at the go through everything. Scubadiving, paragliding, hiking through the mountains, and more. They also look badass. Do yourself a favor and buy two pair!!

The quality and design are amazing. They are lightweight but seem very durable. They are comfortable but do need a little break in similar to work shoes. All in all they are versatile shoes that you could wear for rugged terrain but are still stylish enough for a night on the town.

The shoes came in fairly quick through the mail. However, I ordered 11.5 Wide and was given 11.5 Regular. They were super tight but by the time I tried them out I knew I wouldn’t be able to get them swapped for a Wide version. So I loosened up the laces and decided to role with it. They’re good looking shoes tho

This is a potentially great shoe. My main complaint with the original shoe was the narrow toe box, which relegated the shoe to quick trips where I would not be on my feet very long, so I was excited to see a wide option. I can see no discernible difference in width with the wides, whether on my feet, or holding them sole to sole. They almost feel more narrow, with no room to wiggle my little toes.
